General Info

WARNING: Always ensure tickets are purchased from an authorised Medibank International ticket agent, Medibank International Licensed Tour Operator or Medibank International Licensed Hospitality Agents. Failure to do so could mean that access to the Sydney Olympic Tennis Centre is denied.

CHILD AND CONCESSION POLICY

The following child and concession policy applies to the Medibank International Sydney 2011 to be held at the Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre.

CHILD POLICY

• Children aged 3-16 as at 1 January 2011 are entitled to purchase a Childs reserved seat ticket.             
• Children aged 2 and under as at 1 January 2011 are entitled to enter the events at no charge; however they must not occupy a reserved seat.             
• Persons aged 17 and over as at 1 January 2011 are classified as an adult, unless they hold valid Concession identification.

CONCESSION POLICY

A person must have the appropriate form of concession to purchase a concession reserved seat ticket.

They must present the relevant concession documentation at point of purchase and upon entry into the event.

The following are accepted forms of Concession for the purchase of tickets:

a. Student Cards: Full-time Secondary Students, Full-time Tertiary Students.             
b. Pensioner Concession Card: Aged (AGE), Bereavement Allowance (BVA), Carer (CAR), Aged Blind (AGE BLIND), Parenting Payment (single) (PPS), Disability Support Pension (DSP), Disability Support Blind (DSP Blind), Partner Allowance (PTA), Sickness Allowance (SAL), Special Benefit (SPL), Widow Allowance (WDA), Widow Pension (WID), Wife Pension (WFA/WFD/WFW), Newstart Allowance over 60 years (NSW/NMA), Mature Age Allowance (MAA), Mature Age Partner Allowance (MPA), Newstart Allowance (NSA), Parenting Payment (PPP/PPS).             
c. Veteran Affairs and TPI
d. Health Care Cards: Exceptional Circumstances Relief (DR), Sickness Allowance (SA), Special Benefit (SL), Farm Help Income Support (FFR), Newstart Allowance (NS), Youth Allowance (YA), Newstart Mature Age Allowance (NMA), Parenting Payment (single) (PPS), Low Income (LI), Carer Allowance (CD), Partner Allowance (PA), Mobility Allowance (MO), and Widow Assistance (FA), Family Assistance (FA), Child Disability Allowance (CDA).             
e. Personal Treatment Entitlement Card: Must be current. (Please check date carefully)

Tennis Australia recognises the Companion Card program.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

For the comfort and safety of patrons and players the following items are NOT allowed into Sydney and Olympic Park Tennis Centre.

Alcohol; animals except service animals (e.g. seeing eye dogs); any item that could be used as a weapon; audio recorders; bicycles, scooters, skateboards and roller-blades/skates; camera tripods, monopods, telephoto camera lenses with a focal strength of greater than 200mm; video cameras & handy-cams; drink & food cans; chairs & stools; eskies & hampers; fireworks; frisbees; helium balloons; glass (including bottles); large containers in excess of 1.5 litres; flags, banners or signs larger than 1.2m wide or with handles longer than 50cm in length; musical instruments &/or amplification equipment; unauthorised advertising material or flyers; laser pointers, distress signals, whistles or loud hailers; dangerous goods and any other item prohibited by legislation.

Note: Prams and strollers are not permitted in seating areas.

RESTRICTED VIEW SEATS

Seats in the lower level on the western side of Ken Rosewall Arena (KRA) are sold as Restricted View as the umpires chair and additional on-court structures partially obstruct a patron’s view of the court. Some seats in the middle and upper level of the eastern and western side of KRA are sold as restricted view as handrails and shade structures partially obstruct a patron’s view of the court.

Patrons will be informed at the time of purchase if they are allocated a restricted view seat. Please note that restricted view seats are discounted by 10% to compensate for the Restricted View and will be sold last (unless otherwise requested).

Kids Day
All kids will be admitted free on into the Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre on Kids Day which will be held on Monday 10 January.
Please note all persons 12 years old and younger must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian at all time during the event.

    Can we directly buy the ground pass in the Olympic Park Tennis center.

    hello. My grandson aged 8 and myself would like to come on Sat 16th to the mens finals and we would like to sit in the VIP area. What is the ticket cost for my grandson? I understand it is 114.90 for myself.
